I watched at bit of the movie (not the TV show) "Voyage to the Bottom of the
Sea". It had an old Peter Lorre and a young Barbara Eden. One of the early
scenes is the captain of the sub struggling to do a calculation with a slide
rule. Not sure what rule it is. But the captain is ecstatic with his result.
