Hi All,

I don't know how many of you are Jeopardy! fans, but on the show last
night (28 May 2003) they had a category on calculating instruments. The
first question was a visual to identify the item. Answer: This item
preceded the Sextant in star navigation. Question: What is an
astrolabe.

The 4 question was:
Answer: Keuffel and Esser, the dominant producer in this type of
calculating device, stopped production in 1975. Question: What is the
Slide Rule.

Hopefully others saw this show as well.
