My thanks to the good people on the other side of the border! I was living
on the St. Lawrence and in high school during the Apollo 13 mission.

Can anyone hazard a guess as to the slide rule the Canadian engineers used?
The one in the still had no cursor, but the one in the video clip look like
it came out of a Post sheath. This second one also appeared to be thick
wood.
