In "From the Terrace," Paul Newman handles a slide rule while he's visiting his old aircraft company. He's not calculating anything, just fiddling with it during a meeting. (Not as exciting as "Mantis", however.)
There's also a movie with John Wayne, I can't remember the title, where a railroad is being built somewhere in the American West, and Wayne scornfully tells the boss: "You don't build a railroad with sliderules!" (What else would you expect from John Wayne?)
