A happy Memorial Dy to all-
I just watched an episode of Star Trek on the Sci Fi channel (0900-1000 CST
in the US) and saw Mr. Spock using what appeared to be an E6B type flight
computer to calculate the amount of time left for the Enterprise in a
decaying orbit. Then I tuned into 'Planes of Fame', to catch a story on the
development of the Navy's A-5 Vigilante. One scene showed an 'engineer' at
a drafting table. He did a quick calculation with a slide rule. Couldn't
make out the model of slide rule, however I did notice that it lacked a
cursor!
